Last Tornado Post

I guess I should have done the slide show with these pictures since they are so big I can only post 2-3 of them at a time. Anyway, this is a picture of a tree being cut down. Perhaps I will post the video at a later time so you can see the whole tumble.

The Tornado

Here's a tree that got split with the smaller portion still standing. In this area we helped with cutting down the damaged trees and piling all the remains so at a future date they can be burned.

The Tornado

These are some pictures of the scene following the Tornado after the local citizens cleaned up some following the immediate damage.

There were two houses around this same area, one of which was this one. The foundation is all that remains as you can see.

Tornado

This was a cow relaxing by the pond of water taking in the sun, while hundreds of people worked around it. It was quite the site.

Alex's Grill

For Father's Day I decided to get Alex a grill. Actually, Alex decided to get it himself, but it really sounds nicer mentioning that I got it for him doesn't it, haha :) As you can see, he had quite the time cooking on his new grill. I had a blast taking pictures, as I always do. He has used it twice since, but he's improving. He refused to get a gas grill, so he must learn the hard way, but he's enjoying it and that's what matter.

Stormy Night

I just couldn't help but take pictures of this beautiful site. On this particular day there had been a storm and I had realized that I had yet to take a picture of a rainbow, so I looked outside and noticed that the sun was shining and saw these colors. I knew this was an opportunity I couldn't miss, so I went upstairs and took these pictures looking out from our bedroom window. It was such an amazing site, that's why I have posted so many of the same pictures.

New items

This is our new entertainment center which we bought at an auction. It was well worth the wait, though we spent almost four hours out in the heat on top of being sun-burned. I looked like Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer. Sorry, I don't have a picture of that, thank goodness!!
This was a great pictures, though a bit blurry. I took it on our way home from our soccer tournament yesterday of which we are undefeated. Isn't it a pretty picture? I sure thought so.
Last but not least, is our new futon couch. Quite convenient I might add. This is where Karl will be sleeping, lucky him. Alex says it's quite comfortable, so Karl won't have to sleep on the floor.

Don't worry be Happy :)

Ok, ok, I thought listing new songs would get me off the hook, but being that I have such a great sister, nothing can slip by through her.

So, at her request, here are some more pictures of new items we have bought and fun times.

Enjoy.

This picture was taken on Saturday the 30th of May while I was waiting to play the next softball game for our tournament. We ended up winning three and losing two. By that point we were out of the tournament, but I had a great time, aside from all the mosquito bites that ended up on my skin. The picture below was also taken that day.

The picture above is our soccer team, minus one. We played yesterday the 10th of June. We had three games of which the first we won 3-1, second 7-0, third 9-4 (me making 3 of those goals, I was quite proud of myself considering how I would kick the ball out of bounds more than kicking in the goal).
