Last Tornado Post

I guess I should have done the slide show with these pictures since they are so big I can only post 2-3 of them at a time. Anyway, this is a picture of a tree being cut down. Perhaps I will post the video at a later time so you can see the whole tumble.

The Tornado

Here's a tree that got split with the smaller portion still standing. In this area we helped with cutting down the damaged trees and piling all the remains so at a future date they can be burned.

The Tornado

These are some pictures of the scene following the Tornado after the local citizens cleaned up some following the immediate damage.

There were two houses around this same area, one of which was this one. The foundation is all that remains as you can see.

Tornado

This was a cow relaxing by the pond of water taking in the sun, while hundreds of people worked around it. It was quite the site.

Alex's Grill

For Father's Day I decided to get Alex a grill. Actually, Alex decided to get it himself, but it really sounds nicer mentioning that I got it for him doesn't it, haha :) As you can see, he had quite the time cooking on his new grill. I had a blast taking pictures, as I always do. He has used it twice since, but he's improving. He refused to get a gas grill, so he must learn the hard way, but he's enjoying it and that's what matter.

Stormy Night

I just couldn't help but take pictures of this beautiful site. On this particular day there had been a storm and I had realized that I had yet to take a picture of a rainbow, so I looked outside and noticed that the sun was shining and saw these colors. I knew this was an opportunity I couldn't miss, so I went upstairs and took these pictures looking out from our bedroom window. It was such an amazing site, that's why I have posted so many of the same pictures.
